Adrian Arnold grew up in an impoverished North Philadelphia home in the Strawberry Mansion area. Having been from such a pauperized neighborhood, getting into fights was not foreign to Mr. Arnold and as such, he developed an interest in self-defense and being able to successfully navigate physical conflict. 

 

His background helped him excel in his initial studies in China and thereafter.  On his first trip to China, he studied under Master Wu Wei associated with the Beijing Freestyle Fighting Association.  An average regime at this time was three hours weekdays and five hours of training weekends.

 

2018 Mr. Arnold earned his Third Degree in Open Style Karate and another Third Degree in Taekwondo under Master Cliff Kinchen, Sixth Degree Black Belt and Black Belt Hall of Fame instructor.
